Great breakfast place. Good food and service with a smile. It's a nice small and cozy place. Loved the artifacts on the walls. They represent a bygone era. Will definitely visit next time.

WOW WOW WOW!! This is probably the best Ruben I have ever had, to top that I had a Monte Christo too and it was AMAZING!!! I will eat here again every time I am in Bakersfield!

Knotty Pine is Bakersfield famous! I've been here many times and it's always the same quality. It has that old school diner vibe, and it's always packed because it's great! The portions are huge, and I haven't tried anything I didn't like. I ordered the T-bird sandwich, which has real roasted turkey not deli meat. My mom got the fish and chips.

The food was absolutely delicious—our French toast and meat lovers omelette were both flavorful and generously portioned. You definitely get a lot of food for the price. The customer service was top-notch; everyone was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome. On top of that, the ambiance was cool and inviting, making it the perfect spot to enjoy a meal. Highly recommend!

WOW! You better be hungry when you go here! Our first visit, we had ham steak and eggs breakfast, easily enough for 4 people! Karla and ALL the servers were super friendly, every one of them checked on us to make sure our meal was perfect. The country decor adds special at-home feel. Great home cooked food, very affordable, kind and friendly people make for an enjoyable breakfast or lunch! Highly recommend!

Just ask your server. Booths, tables & a counter to soot your preference. This café has a large, loyal & repeat customer base. Even travelers who know about Cope's come back time & again. Wow! An amazing breakfast! Visiting the area and wanted a quiet little hole in the wall place! Surprise! The food (huge servings) and outstanding! We Loved it! Every time we visit here we will be stopping!
